Disney Cruise Line

7-Night Western Caribbean | Disney Fantasy

Before the road trips. Before Costa Rica. Before we truly pushed our boundaries.

There was Disney World, but not this.

Cruising with food allergies can feel overwhelming — especially knowing every meal is prepared in a shared kitchen, and you're at sea.

We were nervous.

But from the very first night, something shifted.

A Dining Team That Stayed With Us

On this cruise, our dining team stayed with us the entire week.

Our server was incredible.
He knew our allergies before we even sat down each evening. Meals were reviewed. Ingredients were confirmed. We pre-ordered for the following night. By the second evening, we weren’t anxious anymore. We were enjoying dinner.

Dessert Wasn’t Off Limits

Something we don’t take lightly — dessert. Safe options were prepared for us nightly. When you’re used to skipping dessert “just to be safe,” that feels big.

It felt magical.

Our Itinerary

At Sea
Cozumel, Mexico
Grand Cayman
Falmouth, Jamaica
Castaway Cay, Disney Private Island

Seven nights of sunshine, ports, and the unexpected realization that we could relax — even with food allergies.

Why This Cruise Mattered

This cruise came before the road trips.

It gave us proof.

Proof that food allergies didn’t mean staying close to home.
Proof that preparation and communication worked.
Proof that we could enjoy the experience — not just manage it.

By the end of the week, we weren’t just eating safely.

We were making memories. And that changed everything.
