Our Route
From Pennsylvania to Boston, Portland, Bar Harbor, Kennebunkport, Newport, and Mystic, this road trip was full of ocean views, charming towns, and thoughtful dining decisions. Traveling with food allergies means planning ahead — but this stretch of New England surprised us in the best way.
Boston, MA
Boston was one of the most allergy-aware cities we’ve visited. From ice cream to lunch spots, staff were knowledgeable and accommodating.
Portland/Bar Harbor, ME
Maine quickly became a favorite. Acadia, coastal drives, and a few thoughtful dining experiences made this stop memorable.
Kennebunkport, ME
A charming stop with small-town energy and a few special finds along the way.
Newport, RI
Cliff walks, historic mansions, and an easy dinner in town made this a relaxed overnight stop.
