Why we chose it

Finding nut-free ice cream in New York City feels like finding gold. We did the research in advance and learned that à la Mode offers nut-free options, which immediately put it on our list. In a city packed with dessert spots, knowing there was a place we could feel confident about made it an easy choice.

Our experience

This was one of those simple yet special moments. Being able to walk into an ice cream shop and order without hesitation felt significant. The staff was helpful, answered questions clearly, and everyone left happy. Sometimes, it’s not just about the ice cream — it’s about the freedom to enjoy it without fear.

New York City is fast-paced and busy, but this stop felt easy and relaxed. It’s definitely a place we would return to. Traveling with allergies often means skipping dessert, but not this time!
