Why we chose it

Wildwood Crest was our place — and when you return somewhere year after year, certain restaurants become part of the routine. The Boathouse offered straightforward menu options that felt manageable for us, which made it a place we could confidently return to each summer.

Our experience

We visited so frequently that we watched our family grow up there, going from ordering off the kids’ menu to enjoying steak. The consistency of returning year after year made the menu feel familiar. As we grew older, that sense of familiarity transformed into confidence. It became less about finding something safe to eat and more about witnessing his growth — one summer at a time. There’s nothing better than enjoying a meal on a deck overlooking the water, listening to live music after a day in the sun.
