Why we chose it

When you visit Mystic, Mystic Pizza feels like a must. It’s one of those iconic spots tied to the town’s identity, and it made for an easy, classic lunch stop during our day there.

Our experience

The restaurant had a fun, lively atmosphere with plenty of nods to its movie-famous history. It was busy but organized, and after a morning of exploring, pizza was exactly what everyone wanted. We kept it simple, enjoyed a relaxed lunch, and then headed straight for the highlight of the day — a two-person speedboat tour along the coastline. We even did donuts in the water, which had everyone laughing (and completely soaked).

Sometimes the best travel days are the ones that mix something iconic with something unexpected — and Mystic delivered both.
