Why we chose it

Before our trip, I emailed Water’s Edge about my son’s food allergies and asked if they could accommodate us. They replied right away that they could, so I added them to our list of restaurants for the stay. We still confirmed details in person, asked about ingredients, and made the choices that felt right that visit.

Our experience

Water’s Edge Restaurant & Bar is located on Eagle Beach, another gorgeous beach on this beautiful island. We sat outside, surrounded by palm trees, with a view of the ocean — a setting that immediately felt relaxed and welcoming.

Our waitress was one of the sweetest people we met during our trip. My son communicated his food allergies with her, discussed what oil they cook with, and showed her his Equal Eats allergy card, which he always travels with (English/Spanish).

She took the time to listen, ask questions, and make sure the kitchen staff understood his needs. My son ordered a steak with a baked potato, and we enjoyed a wonderful family meal together.

Most importantly, my son felt at ease dining here, knowing his allergies were taken seriously — something we never take for granted while traveling.
